What it is
A privately operated publication. It publishes design guides, calculators, and plant references for parcel-scale stormwater management. It is a commercial website and may earn revenue from advertising, affiliate links, or contractor referrals. Where that applies it is disclosed on the page.
What it is not
It is not a nonprofit and not a program. It does not solicit donations, run volunteer events, install rain gardens, or represent any organization.
Non-affiliation. This subdomain previously hosted a rain garden program operated by the Salmon Protection and Watershed Network, now part of the Turtle Island Restoration Network. This site has no connection to either organization, and nothing here should be read as coming from or endorsed by them.
Accuracy
Sizing methods here follow standard infiltration-basin practice, but stormwater codes are local and vary widely. Verify against your jurisdiction's standard before construction, and use a licensed engineer for anything involving an underdrain, a structure, or a slope.
